~
It's the hour of a new urbex post! Nothing very amazing this time unfortunately, but it was a nice outing anyway, in the cold of the winter but warmed by magnificent rays of sunshine <3

~
Jérémie's photo while we arrived at the du Parc hosiery!

~
I thought that the term hosiery indicated only the manufacturing of lingerie, but in fact it's also about the creation of stocking and socks, in knit!

The Bosteels de Smeth (Du Parc) hosiery went bankrupt in the 90s and buildings were abandoned from 2001.

~
It's a sad story because this at first family company had begun in 1880 and had got bigger little by little in the point to employ up to 600 people, in these warehouses and buildings...

~
Everywhere by walking in the course of offices and immense rooms, we find the vestiges of the former productions...
Bobbins, rollers of bones of bra, pigments and other colouring agents, packagings for tights, ...

~
I wouldn't have been able to count the number of big bobbins which we were able to see, probably more than 100 :3

~
We found a lot of powder to color textiles! I moreover managed to walk in pigments of pink colouring agent (which fate haha)... I thus have a small particular souvenir of this urbex, on my bootees =D

~
Have I already say how much I adore the winter sun? I think so =D

~
A bag of yellow pigments was torn by time and humidity, the color extends in a big lemon color puddle :3

~
Under this green foam which seems so well installed, a big bobbin was left there for years!

~
We found several Colormat machines. They allowed to dye relatively big quantities of textiles : articles of hosiery and the seamless knittings.

~
We found a great deal of samples of stockings! I think that it was about color tests :3

~
And tons of stockings/pieces of stockings almost everywhere.

Encore une photo prise par Jérémie ^^

Another photo taken by Jérémie ^^

We made also a tour on the roof... fast because the place was not very safe ^^'
A photo from Jérémiiiie:

~
It's quite all for this time!
I end with another photo of my coloc Jérémie!

~
Roughly, it was a great ballad, nice things to be seen but not of what to take crazy photos =P
