Thailand 2016 part 12 - A day at the lake

Quelques photos d'une petite journée au lac avec ma maman, Aom, Michel, mon oncle et ses amis.

Les amis et collègues (profs d'anglais en Thaïlande) de mon oncle sont venus passer une nuit chez mon oncle!

J'ai été ravie de faire de nouvelles connaissances et de pratiquer un peu mon anglais.

J'étais aussi flattée qu'ils m'aient complimenté là dessus haha x)

Nous avons pris tout ensemble un délicieux petit déjeuner avec du fromage <3

Some pictures of a small day at the lake with my mom, Aom, Michel, my uncle and his friends.

Friends and colleagues (English teachers in Thailand) of myy uncle came to spend a night at my uncle!

I was thrilled to meet new people and practice a bit my English.

I was also flattered that they have complimented me on that haha ​​x)

We have taken all together a delicious breakfast with cheese <3

Nous nous mettons en route pour rejoindre le lac! On se case tous dans la voiture de mon oncle, et c'est parti =)

We set off to reach the lake! We all fit in the car of my uncle, and go =)

Le lac est très grand, et les alentours sont très calmes.

Nous pouvons aller nager tranquillement!

Mais pas trop dévêtus... ça ne se fait pas ici et Aom m'explique que les villageois d'ici seraient très choqués de nous voir en maillot de bain... =O

The lake is very large, and the surroundings are very quiet.

We can swim quietly!

But not too stripped... it doesn't happen here and Aom explains that the villagers here would be very shocked to see us in a swimsuit... =O

J'y vais donc avec ce que j'ai sous la main : un pull et un short haha. 

J'évite le "balançage" dans l'eau par Michel et Paul, et heureusement car mes cheveux auraient simplement été impossible à porter une fois trempés haha XD

(Ils sont déjà bien assez lourds comme ça, croyez moi!)

I'm going with what I have on hand : a sweater and shorts haha.

I avoid to be throwed in the water by Michel and Paul, which was good because my hair would have simply been impossible to carry once soaked haha ​​XD

(They are already heavy enough, believe me!)

L'eau est très chaude et le sol (la vase en fait haha) est tout doux *o*

The water is very warm and the water bottom (silt actually haha) was soft *o*

(Oui, la voiture était garée presque les pieds dans l'eau... genre pas de soucis c'est normal x))

(Yes, the car was parked near the waterfront... well no worries this is normal x))

C'est un endroit où il y a beaucoup de scouts, certains sont même venus se baigner près de nous :3

It is a place where there are lots of scouts, some even came to swim near us :3

Ils sont tellement adorables que nous leur avons offert des glaces. Et ils ont même eu la courtoisie de choisir les moins chères... vraiment adorables <3

J'en ai pris une aussi hehehe!

Je paie le tout avec 80 bahts... ce qui est ridiculement peu =O

They are so adorable that we offered them ice cream. And they even had the courtesy to pick the cheapest... really cute <3

I took one too hehehe!

I pay everything with 80 baht... which is ridiculously cheap =O

Il est finalement temps de rentrer et nous reprenons la route.

Une fois arrivés à la maison, nous avons passé une excellente soirée tous ensemble.

It is finally time to go and we hit the road.

Once at home, we spent a wonderful evening together.

Plus tard dans la soirée, nous sommes ressortis admirer le coucher de soleil dans la rue.

Mon oncle nous a raconté son arrivée en Thaïlande et tout un tas d'anecdotes et de petites histoires sympa... c'était vraiment une bonne soirée!

Later in the evening, we went out to admire the sunset on the street.

My uncle told us his arrival in Thailand and a bunch of anecdotes and small nice stories... it was really a good evening!

Tard le soir, alors que nous pensions monter nous coucher, nous entendons un son très fort et très étrange!

Mon oncle fulmine : c'est un tokay, et il fait plein de dégâts dans la maison.

Nous l'avons donc chassé (oui haha) de là... ça nous a pris toute la soirée pour le débusquer, c'était marrant haha =D

Ca mord trèèèès très fort en tout cas =0

Late at night, when we thought up to bed, we hear a sound very loud and very strange!

My uncle was so angry : it is a tokay, and he made lots of damage in the house.

We therefore we hunted him (yes haha) from there... it took us all the evening to uncover it, it was funny haha ​​=D

He bites veeeeeery very hard anyway =0
